aloha, omg the funniest thing happened tonight

whilst at gozzy rocks (second heat), we where packing up a band, getting ready for the next one to come out and set up, and mel (youth worker) pulled out the cable for one of the bass guitars DI, she shouldn’t have, so i told her to put it ‘exactly’ where she found it… she didn’t. she put it in where something else we took out earlier (it broke) was.

after a while, the next band was up and ready, and keira started to sound check, he then got around to the bass guitar, “dum dummm dummmmmmmmmmm”

it wasn’t coming though anything… so he got on the mic (which goes through every speaker in the room) and said, “luke, why isn’t anything coming through bass” at the time, i was out backstage, eating a burger i got from chooks, i heard what he said, went out into the middle of the stage, said “what?”

he said “why isn’t the bass guitar coming though” and i quickly responded….

“i dont know…” then most of the poeple including all the staff, laughed. so did i, lol
